Celebrating the life of
Gloria Suzette Parker
January 27, 1952 - November 21, 2024
Gloria Suzette Parker of Savannah, GA. Suzette, went to be with the Lord on the morning of Thursday, November 21, 2024, at home. She was a fourth generation native of Savannah, Georgia, graduating from Jenkins High School in 1970 and later attended Armstrong University with continuing studies at Boston University, MA.
Suzette was a passionate Surgical First Assistant who worked alongside some of Savannah's finest surgeons in the field of obstetrics, orthopedics, plastic surgery and vascular medicine.
She was a long-time member of Isle of Hope United Methodist Church, and more recently transferred her membership to Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church.
Suzette had a spirit of excellence which was evidenced in professional life and interests which included dressmaking and design, cooking and gardening.
Suzette was a beautiful Southern lady who loved God first and foremost. A close second was the love of family and friends. Her warm smile radiated the genuine inner-beauty of her heart, and she touched the lives of everyone she encountered with her compassion, generosity, and hospitality.
She loved the simple pleasures of life, being with family and friends, strolling along Bluff Drive to the Marina at Isle of Hope, sharing a kind word with neighbors. She also loved the fall in the mountains of Highlands NC. Suzette will be greatly missed by her loving family, friends, and precious dog Sammy.
Suzette is survived by her husband Andrew Wall of Savannah: a daughter, Wimberly Solis of Savannah; three grandchildren, Edward Solis, Alexandra Solis, and Harrison Solis all of Savannah; three brothers, Carlton Parker, Jr, Charles Parker both of Savannah, and William (Billy) Parker of Cashiers, North Carolina; and a sister, Martha Parker of Atlanta, Georgia.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church, Downtown, Savannah with burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Savannah.
Remembrances to Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church.
The family would like to thank Savannah Hospice for their dedicated and loving care of Suzette.

I am so very sorry to learn the news about Suzette. I remember her from the "good old days" when my late husband (John) was operating. I always enjoyed her sparkling personality and sense of humor. She will be missed. With deepest condolences, Dr. Jeanne Hungerpiller

I am heartbroken to learn of Suzette’s passing. We worked together at Surgical Associates in the late 90’s and became fast friends. We’d kept in touch off and on over the years, but it had been some time since we last spoke. Wimberly and the rest of Suzette’s family are in my heart and prayers. She will be deeply missed, but I’ll treasure my memories of all the good times we had forever.
